About the AITC
The Australian Industry Trade College is an industry-driven senior school.
At the AITC, we help your young person find their passion and then pursue that career through a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship. Years 10, 11 and 12 students spend half their time completing their senior education at school and the remainder in industry. Our young people aim to attain a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and an employment outcome in the industry of their choice by the time they graduate Year 12.
Our Toowoomba campus
The Toowoomba campus was opened in July 2019 and is located in the heart of the Toowoomba CBD on the corner of Neil and Russell Streets.
Residing in the ‘Turner Freeman Building’ the campus covers the entire second level (elevator access) along with reception and additional classrooms on ground level.
Facilities include two kitchens and a large common room for lunch, while the College has an arrangement with a nearby gym where our young people undertake the strength and fitness program.
If your young person is travelling to campus by car or bus the commute is easy. The Toowoomba City Bus Interchange is less than a minute’s walk away, and street parking is available in the area.
