We understand that the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is on your minds as it permeates the news and our conversations. The safety and wellbeing of our entire community continue to be our first priority in the wake of COVID-19. The College will communicate with parents regularly to ensure our community remains informed. This dedicated web page will be updated regularly – please check back often for current news and instructions.

TAFE Queensland have advised that despite lockdown being lifted, no face-to-face learning will occur in the week commencing 9 August for campuses in South East Queensland. TAFE classes outside of South East Queensland will continue as usual.

It is important to note that restrictions remain in place for the next 14 days, particularly for schools. All AITC employees and young people must wear masks at all times. Masks are critical to our community’s protection against COVID-19. Please ensure your young person wears their mask – safety is our first thought.

Over the next two weeks College events and specific industries will also be limited to the 1 person per sqm rule. Please liaise directly with your employer for clarity.
