About the AITC
The Australian Industry Trade College is an industry-driven senior school.
At the AITC, we help your young person find their passion and then pursue that career through a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship. Years 10, 11 and 12 students spend half their time completing their senior education at school and the remainder in industry. Our young people aim to attain a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and an employment outcome in the industry of their choice by the time they graduate Year 12.
Our Ipswich campus
The Australian Industry Trade College was proud to open its fifth Campus in Ipswich in January 2020. During this inaugural year the campus experienced incredible growth, resulting in further expansion (Stages 2 and 3) which was completed in July 2021. This expansion provides the additional learning spaces and larger breakout areas required for our rapidly growing cohort of young people.
The single-storey campus is conveniently located at 17 Lowry Street, North Ipswich, 900m from the local train station, and within walking distance to the Riverlink Shopping Centre. Free street parking is available on Lowry Street for visitors to the campus, a drop off zone is located within the carpark off Lowry Street and there are several bus routes servicing the area.
Strength and fitness activities are completed in a nearby gym, also located on Lowry Street.
