The AITC in conjunction with partner TAFE Queensland is offering AITC students in Year 10, 11 and 12 the opportunity to enter into the sought after Community Services, Health and Nursing sector.
This Program gives students a taste of what it’s like to work in hospitals and/or the health care industry. With dual qualifications, graduating students will be able to apply for entry-level work at aged care facilities, hospitals and other healthcare organisations.
The Program includes:
- 10 clinical lab sessions at the TAFE Queensland Southport facility
- Completion of 80 hours of Vocational Placement at a health care facility
Certificate II in Health Support Services and
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
Pathway options for this course are Diploma of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing
