The standard AITC uniform requirements, as well as specific industry uniform requirements, are listed below.
The wearing of trade uniforms is required at all times when at a registered training organisation (e.g. at pre-employment training), on work experience or on-site in an apprenticeship/traineeship. Workplace specific uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may also be required during industry placements. Your Industry Consultant can advise you of what to expect in this regard in your first term.
We recommend that you order your uniforms as soon as possible as all College shirts and industry shirts must be embroidered with the AITC logo and the young person’s first name by the supplier and this can take several days. Details of suppliers for each campus are provided in the respective new starter packs sent to all families upon acceptance of an offer. Current families can contact the campus for further information.
We are pleased to advise that for 2020 the College has arranged for your young person to obtain the jersey at no cost. The jersey is embroidered with the young person’s name and AITC logo on the front, and printed with a name (to be approved by the College) and the graduating year on the back. This can take some time to become available so please order as soon as possible. Your supplier will ask for the graduating year:
- First Year in 2020 = 22
- Second Year in 2020 = 21
- Third Year in 2020 = 20
