Located just 50 minutes from the major city centres of Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Ipswich, the Redlands College is perfectly located in the beautiful coastal township of Cleveland next to the fabulous natural environs of Moreton Bay, and within easy access of public transport and key amenities and services.
The choice to locate the College’s second campus in Redland City was cemented with support from local industry leaders, government representatives, training providers, employers, parents and young people.
The AITC is not simply a school but a supportive community which understands that not all young people learn in the same way. Driven by industry needs, AITC students are educated and prepared ready for work. Students at the AITC Redlands campus benefit from a quality senior schooling aimed at the specific demands of young people with aspirations to excel in a trade of their choice.
Young people complete their Year 11 and 12 requirements for their Queensland Certificate of Education in our on-campus learning environment supported by a passionate and professional team of teachers, trainers, employment consultants and mentors. Pre-employment training is provided by AITC partner TAFE Queensland at the Alexandra Hills campus. Once signed into a school-based apprenticeship, they receive vocational training in a trade of their choice. This is delivered in partnership with Redlands-based industry partners with whom we nurture close relationships.
